Howdy. Just got back from Panama...didn't end up being the greatest trip in the world, but at least I got to use my underwater camera. I purchased a full underwater housing for my Canon A95 (5MP) a bunch of years back and haven't gotten to use it much...luckily I got to use it before I got major sunburn lol (aka day 2). Enjoy!
(The underwater pics were taken on the Caribbean side around Yandup Island Lodge)

Thanks! I had trouble getting to the parks and trails...it was a bit of a mess with no infrastructure lol

Oh and Kathy there were tons of "baby sardines" around so maybe that was it!

Reminds me of what I saw on the other shore of Panama, three years ago.
Spent there 5 weeks, shooting amphibians, and snorkled a few time in the Bocas del Toro archipelagos.
Young baracudas around the mangroves and a lot of young Chaetodon capistratus.
Bad sunburns too

Ate barracuda for the first time and it was fabulous! I have issues with snorkeling (I'm a mess with breathing haha) so these pics are all really really close to shore.

Sweet I was in the Gamboa area for a day...hired a boat to do the ride through the Canal area and Monkey Island. The resort itself we stopped by and it was beautiful.

It was a great place. I wish I had time to do some scuba diving. I wanted to go to the Pearl Islands, but we did not have enough time.

We tried driving towards Bocas from Panama City and realized (once we got to David) it just wasnt happening.
