Have had this guy for three years and have seen him triple in size with no issues. He’s still the most ferocious feeder and tank alpha even with a gem and sailfin that are larger.

I first noticed this pinhole on the pectoral fin’s shoulder muscle 24 hours ago, I think it’s getting larger, unless it’s my paranoia.

I’m thinking that I should quarantine him and treat him with formalin. Any suggestions/recommendations? Disease ID?

I'm only posting this update so that if another member runs into the same situation, they know exactly what worked for me.

I easily captured this guy and transferred him to a 10G QT where I dosed erythromycin as prescribed for 5 days. The pin hole closed up in 48 hours and he was completely healed by the end of the treatment. I put him back in general population with the other tang criminals and he's been back to his role of 'top glutton pig' ever since.
