Dom is the man, and all his fish rock!! :thrash:
The Atlantic blue tang is pending sale. The pipefish eat mysis but they need a decent sized tank. What size is yours? I would say a 48" long tank at minimum or you risk them getting stressed and not eating.
hey i really want some pipe fish but not right now because im currently fixing a problem in my tank but in about 4-5 months do you think it will be able to survive in a 125 gallon sps reef. i just dont know because of the flow like would they be ok or im also thinking about putting a 20 gallon high tank next to the 125 gallon and plumbing in the same water. the only thing with that is like you said they need a 48 inch long tank.
Thanks for the Black Sailfin Dom. He is now acclimated and in the process of exerting his dominance in my tank. I guess he needed to after being the "little guy" in your tank. His first order of business was to hide and to scope out his tank mates. He then proceeded to chase my yellow watchman goby around and take every hiding spot until he found his favorite. He even got in the true percs face (the male, but not the female).
He's a gorgeous fish. Hopefully he settles down soon. He looks so good under the LEDs and can't wait to see him under the actinics. I will post pics when he feels a little more comfortable and swims around.
