i got a med powder brown tang, leopard wrasse, and a cleaner shrimp. they all looked great! i dripped them for about 2 hrs and turned off my lights. i put in my leopard wrasse and almost immediately, my pygmy angel started to bully it, so i kept swatting the angel away to let the leopard settle in. the leopard was swimming a bit wonky but nothing too serious. i think it may have to do with shipping.

next i put in the powder brown. the pygmy angel didnt even dare to pick on him haha :sgrin:. both are looking great and i think the leopard dove into the sand.

the cleaner shrimp is already hanging out with my other cleaner shrimp and kind of started a cleaning station!

so hows everyone's fish doing? anyone else get a powder brown tang or a leopard wrasse? how are they doing?

once again, thanks dom!

my worms look great! I got a coco worm and a cluster duster. The coco worm is amazing!!!!! It's super healthy and it happened to be shaped in such a way that was perfect for where I wanted to put it (a rarity I'm sure). Pickup was super easy and quick.

Don, the best thing to do is to try as many different types of foods as possible until you find one of interest. This is what I recommend:

~Hikari Marine-S (Had good success with these and Powder Browns)
~Formula I and II flakes or pellets (small pellets)
~New life spectrum Pellets (small or medium)
~Macro Algae (works much better than Nori in my experience. Stay away from Caulaerpa and chaeto though. Try ogo or other Gracillaria. Green macros are better). Ulva usually works good so keep trying it.
~Cocktail shrimp cut into really small pieces
~Even try live brine shrimp

Last time I was at NY Aquarium Service Joe had green and red macro algae but that was a while back. I have a ton of green that works great with tangs but I currently have a Powder Blue that I am working with and that is all it will eat at the moment. PM me your address and I can mail out a small bagful for you.

Keep in mind that its not good to only feed tangs meaty foods but it is okay to get them started. Brine shrimp isn't going to be too nutritional for them but it will get the tang associating you and what you put in the tank as food and will become more experimental in what it will eat.

Keep us posted on how you make out.

Just wanted to say thanks for all my stuff and for the delivery!! The tailspot is too cute she found her little hideout right in the center of the tank and pokes her head out all day long :)

We'll see what happens. They seem very active and behaving normally but they haven't gone for pellets or mysis. I am going to keep trying pellets but I may try some flakes today.

I will be interested in one if you can make them eat.. I have mature SPS tank but having one that eats the pellets or mysis would be great, I had before but I lost it.
