nice guys but run a very unprofessional business. my friend wanted to buy a tank ,called several times, even went to go see it, they never called back, then when he tired to give a down payment, said tank was sold.

Any place that just closes for no reason is not the way to run a business. Customers time is important!!!. Especially if you travel a distance to get there.

of course they closed there in this for the short term and bad for this hobby selling sick fish at below what the wholesalers sell them for they were just messing up the market for honest hardworking local fish stores to thrive.how many times has he opened and closed in the past five years theres a reason for it

As many times Ralph (Maximum Reef) opened and closed his doors. He did set a standard that changed the hobby. For better or worst. It all depends on how you look at it.

for worst idk about you but id rather pay a higher price for a healthier fish .Alot of people on this site are just interested if its cheap they would rather pay 25 for a yellow tang that more than likely will die because he does not quarantine or treat his fish. He transships everything which amounts to a lot of stress on the fish and his sources were catching with cyanide i heard. He is the chop shop of this hobby and im happy he can no longer kill fish just for his ill gotten gains

Ralph paved the way 4 a lot of people In This hobby nothing is 4 sure n this hobby as far as fish n corals I don?t know any hobbyist who hasn?t lost a fish or coral so u can?t blame Ralph or any other stores for a fish or coral dying it?s part of the hobby As far as fish prices being cheaper u had a choice 2 Buy or walk out so u can?t blame him 4 dat by the way he did quarantine his fish downstairs end of the day this mr U can?t please everyone

ralph paved the way how? please explain when if you go to his stores theres angels with lymph and tangs with ich yea there cheap but not healthy and just cause he had tanks downstairs doesn't mean he treated the fish he didn't and then letting edd run his side business reef corner out off his house selling fish online at double the normal prices it was alot of shadiness theres a reason he can't successfully maintain one store for a long term duration.ask any other business owner his practices were bs and hurt this hobby. This hobby isn't supposed to be cheap it keeps a lot of people who don't know what there doing from hurting or killing fish.
