Also out of each of these tanks we managed to remove I would say a garbage can full of rocks that opened up a lot more space for fish to swim and corals to be placed as well as increase the flow reducing dead spots and build up of detritus.
It would be great to try and get a top down view or maybe even need to invest in a go-pro so can go "swimming" in between all the structures.
We tend to follow a few key rules:
- less is more
- increase flow and options for movement of both water and fish
- avoid bends and mirrors
- respect the ratio
- utilize perception (depth)
