Underwater Edens on Smithsonian channel HD is on right now, it's awesome... FYI. Amazing photography and I think it might even be better than some of Planet Earth's aquatic episodes.

I caught the tail end of that program last night, it was great. The cinematography was amazing. I was going to record it but I couldn't find a good time. Do you know when its going to be on again ?

I didn't even know I had that channel until I stumbled on it last night. I have fios, not sure what number the channel is.

Alex - the secrets of the GBR is on Smithsonian HD#625 on Fios tomorrow at 7pm & Saturday at 11:00 & 11:30 Undersea Edens of Australia & PNG is on. I saw the Australia special earlier today. I just got back from Australia & did a liveaboard on the Great Barrier Reef - the show is right on the money.

I'm not a camera person but I got an underwater video/still camera, flash & strobe as a gift for my trip. I still have to load to the computer & tweak a bit but if anything comes out good I'll post it. I bought a professional video from the onboard videographer just in case my shots/video didnt come out good. I'll let you know.
