Flooding from last night pics

Hey all took these this morning after the mayhem from last night. This is what happens whwn you build a road in a flood plain.

I feel sorry for you guys. Last year, my street was flooded with ice water. I had not water boot so I have to make a bridge climb to where I can walk to dug out the drain at the corner of the block.

you should have seen my town after floyd in '99....now THAT was a mess

Yeah I remember that we did lots of plumbing and heating repairs and replacements after that hurricane it was horrible!

i can't tell you how many of my friends and family members had to totally trash everything in their basements and garages. luckily i lived on the second floor of a two family...so i had a good view lol. i was very active in the scouts at the time and we actually went around handing out donated food and water and witnessed a lot of damage first hand.

I live in Vernon and I drove to willow brook mall today and rt23 was really messed up near Wayne. Detours everywhere. The dam was overflowing, the river was flowing so hard with insane rapids that, would kill, it was incredible.

Im in Ct and Sunday morning I was supposed to leave first thing in the am to pick up some chalices but had go later because our finished basement in which we rent out was flooded. Took me 5 hours to get it somewhat dry (damp)
