hi guys justwondering can a canon powershot sx 210 is take goodpics

Canon powershots have been know to be some good picture takers. If you haven't bought it yet see if you can get your hands on it for a test, even at the store you can take a few shots and see the results. I have a canon G9 which is really a great little camera.

It seems like a very solid point-and-shoot camera.

Any particular reason why you chose this camera, and what kind of photography will you be doing?

Like reefing, I try to research as much as you can (not saying you didn't) before investing in a camera. There's a lot of good info on the net, but I highly recommend this book:

it was taken with an iPhone 4. With the right settings, you can take a great picture with almost any half decent camera.

I know what he said but I'm having a HARD time seeing that taken with an Iphone, regardless of the model for several reasons. Either that or there is a HELL of a lot of post processing done to it...

I've seen some pretty impressive pitcures taken with my brother-in-law's iPhone 4, it's not all that much of a stretch. Plus, check this photo album: http://www.flickr.com/groups/takenwithiphone/

I also remember reading an article (I can't find it right now), about a professional photographer who always got a lot of comments about how anyone could take the impressive pictures he took if they had the same equipment. So he put together a collection of photos, received a lot of similar comments, then revealed that he took the entire series of pictures with his iPhone.
