Ok MR football fans (and I know your out there)

Friday UEFA had the draw for the quarterfinals.

Of course, I'm pulling for FC Inter (they finally seem to be on the right track after the whole Rafa Benitez debacle)

Perhaps an Inter/Barca rematch.

Or Inter vs Mourinho(Madrid)

The quarterfinal matches I'm definitely watching are going to be Chelsea/ ManUnited.


Matches start April 5/6 and the second leg April 12/13.

Have you seen the Serie A table lately? Inter is only two points behind AC. They are even in the win column. Not bad considering they were in seventh place and 13 points behind when the sacked Rafa three months ago.


As far as Arsenal being eliminated by Barca:
van Persie should have never been sent off. It was a tough break losing your keeper as well. But not to have one shot on goal?

Whatever, every Gunner fan anticipated a defensive minded game the minute they won the first match. They didn't need to shoot anything to advance. That's the benefit of winning the first match at the Emirates... I fear the media has made everybody forget this.

2 points is a lot given how AC Milan has been playing. That's like saying how Arsenal is only 2 points behind but it's a lot harder than it seems. And I say 2 points because they have a game on hand and one match against Liverpool. Enough said.
