Safari Browser Question

I'm running safari on my MBP and I have that circle thingy constantly rotating as if the page is constantly loading, any ideas?

yes i get the same thing on mine but try using firefox it's better

Same here, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Seems to only be happening on MR.

I don't feel comfortable with it, it makes me feel that someone or something is accessing my machine.

You could just click the "X" in the address bar to stop it.

Thanks James, feel better now that I know how to stop it. Never thought about clicking on the x.

I had read somewhere that Safari is one of the least secure browsers. I don't like it at all. I'm a Firefox fan....but I've heard good things about Chrome. (Actually, I'm a closet Netscape fan...always liked it best, except for the disastrous godawful 6.0. But Netscape is long gone.....)
