OT- Domain Names for Sale...

Thought I might as well post these here- maybe another MR'er would be interested...

bought up a ton of names a while back thinking I would develope sites around them- decided to focus on a few instead and sell the others (no time for all). I based most of them around a central real estate theme- I was thinking classified ads at the time.

They have been appraised fairly highly on an individual basis- and most have a good '.com recognition' factor.

I think the potential in these names is in site developement, not click through traffic (not like owning computer.com, which people type in to their browser directly).

i just finished the re classes and m taking the exam next month. wish me luck? should be ez, heck i even took some grad RE courses back in college. i don't know why i didn't get into RE years ago! :banghead:

nope- i'm in finance right now- in portfolio management for now, hoping to get back into trading...want to work for myself at somepoint though.

I thought it would be a good idea to grab as many 'realties' names as I could and link them together, forming a network of classified ads.

decided not to follow through on it though- I have a few other sites I'm in the works on and I don't have the time...especially because I'm just learning website developement and its hard enough to create an e-commerce site. plus studying for my CFA, and working on some other projects, I have to narrow my focus a little. I tend to have a ton of ideas, but not enough time to work on them all- and so they all just get lost in the shuffle!

LOL- i was reading an article on how cell porn will be a multi billion $ industry soon. Figured that site could be worth some $ at some point since mandarin is spoken by so many people!

i'm sure cellphoneporn.com is worth a pretty penny! couldn't get that so i got the next best thing...
