I can't answer the question for you, just curious on why you would need an additional router. My Verizon router runs about 8 computers in my house via wireless, it all works fine (except that I hate FIOS ...lol)

The reason I got another router is.. The verizon router is at the basement, and I live on 2nd floor.. Basement and 1st floor, singal is good and strong.. But on second floor.. Is very week.. Sometime I don't get connection at all.. When I need to do update on my PS3, is no connection.. Someone told me this wireless router is strong, and it will work... That;s why I got it..

You can either bridge to the new Linksys as described above, or route to it (similar to above but you can manage your own firewall).

The other option is to bridge the wireless from the Westell to the Linksys and then use the wired ports for the PS3. Your best option is to use a wire from the basement router to the new router so you get better performance and speed without using the wifi bridge.

I call to verizon cuz I need a password, and the guy was very helpful, he said he will help me set up my new router.. I told him I need the verizon to be bridge.. So he told me what I need to do.. As of right now, my old router is connect to the new router.. I think I am using the new router servive.. But how can I tell if I am using the N router service.. Cuz the old router is at g. only.. and how can I tell if he disabled the old router service?

Thanks

bridge the connections - the Verizon router is a POS anyways.

I think I bridge it, at least.. How can I tell.. Cuz he ask me to set up a new name on the new router, which I did, and when I scan it, I pick up my new router name.. and how can I tell if I am picking up the N signal?

Thanx

i dont think your linksys e2000 is capable of bridge mode unless re-flash with dd-wrt firmware. if so, that would mean the verizon router is in bridge mode.
you can check if you r capable of picking up the n signal by checking your network mode on the router's wireless settings. link
set it on "mixed". however, the n signal is pick up only if your wireless adapter can support it.
