I remember talking to someone on this board regarding receivers. I have done some research on this receiver there seems to be some issues in the past that they straightened out. The msrp is $2000 looking for a good deal. It can be had for around 1500. It came out last sept. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good deal.

Great receiver. Got mine few months back for $1200, replaced my 11 year old AVR-4800.

I can tell you that Denon is top of the line. I have 2 recievers, working amazing

wow great info, yes I checked electronics exspo in nj they had it for around 1200 shipped.

After that is the blue ray player one of the best value players oppo 93 model. Many people never heard of it.

Just keep in mind, Denon only honors its warranty if it's purchased from an authorized Denon dealer. Otherwise, it'll have to be a side agreement, if any.
