"non-NY= NY" Sales Tax BS - Are You Declaring It???

i'm doing my NYS/NYC 2005 tax and this is the first year i come across this item (is it new?) where there is a separate line ("DO NOT LEAVE BLANK") lol and they have the nerve to say you MUST pay tax on ALL the items you purchased in other states that were delivered to you (ie, basically anything mail order, on ebay, etc). WTF???
are you declaring the stuff you bought on ebay and mail order (livestock, dry goods) and from catalogs etc?

i pay it, they started this in 2003. you just estimate based on some formula, it came out to a couple hundred bucks each year for me if i remember correctly.
