i live in queens but i had it sent to a building that i know people in thanks but i edited my name and everything . so im good thanks for watching out

I FOUND OUT THEY SEND YOU a money order when you go cash it at your bank they cash it against you account and when you bank trys to get the money for it ups tells them its fake so you bank charges you.

They're using this method because Western Union Bidpay doesn't work anymore. I'm just surprised they didn't want you to ship to Nigeria!

I was actually in line at a local post office when a Polish guy (yes, he was!) in line in front of me shipped a package and then asked the guy behind the counter for his money order, that was supposed to be given to him when he shipped. Of course you know what happened, even though he showed the guy the letter, who said he heard of no such thing! It was impossible for him to get his package back once mailed, so the guy got screwed for almost $400.

So you see, it really does work!

they give you the money, and only after does the post office or bank relize that they are not authentic checks or money oredr,,,like 3 days after.
and by then its to late cause youve already sent a lot of money to Nigeria for instance....happend to me once, when i was trying to sell my tank.

There are a high number of counterfeit US Postal money orders in circulation now.
Most are being sent to people from a foreign country and ask that you cash it and give them a small percentage.
If you present a counterfeit Postal money order for cashing in a Post Office, instructions are to confiscate the article, detain your butt and have the local police along with the US Postal Inspection service grill you till you give up the goods.

The US Postal Service does not use this date format, unless they meant the "order" will be place six months from now.

You can't mess with the lady, because it's a fake name. No scammer would use thier real name and address. It's made-up, or picked randomly from a phone book. Untraceable. The best thing is just delete, and move on. If you were selling on Ebay, report to the fraud section. Since it's craig's list, just forget it. I've had so many attempts, it's really funny now.

Remember: Craig's list safety:
Cash only, come pick it up. Don't sell outside of the area. CL is rampant with fraud, because there is no regulation of transactions like ebay.
