R.I.P. Dad

My Dad died this morning...due to alzheimer's, I feel he actually left a few years ago, but his body just wouldn't give up. He turned 84 last month, and has been in a 'home' in Florida for about a year, because my Mom could no longer take care of him.
Up until he 'lost' his memory he had a great life with many children/grand kids and great grand kids, that he loved very much. He got to spend a lot of time and enjoy life with them, having retired about 35 yrs ago.
We will miss him!

Really sorry for your loss Alfie. Alzheimers runs in my family on my dads side and we went through it with my grandmother. Its an extremely sad thing to go through.
