Coming from the fan of a team that can only be a wild card I don't see that as much of an observation. We win against GB and we are in, if we don't we don't deserve the postseason anyway... see, I am realistic about my team, 1 win and all these Jets fans are back on the kool-aide. It is ok, you will see how the Jets are the same old Jets first round of the playoffs, Maybe they play 2 games in the postseason, no dumb luck runs like last year. They are not that good. 10-4 remains inflated. And the Giants are not that good either because even against the MVP, a good team doesn't dominate 3 quarters and blow a huge lead with 8 mins remaining. I still say that the Giants are a better team than the Jets but the records do not support my claim. We will have to see. Next week things could turn around, Giants win and the Jets lose to the Bears. Then the Jets fans will be all doom and gloom again (even though they should be in the playoffs even with that).

I dont undestand the recent hatred of the Giants from jets fans. I'm a huge jets fan and have no problems with Giants. I actually like to see them do well. You think I rather see mike vic and that idiot deshawn jackson runing up and down the sidelines in the superbowl? I think not.
This is not the same thing as the mets/yankees hatred which is entirely different animal. Oh and this win was big for the jets but lets be honest, without troy polimolo they are just not the same team.

Jets fan here since the Ken O'brien days. I don't really mind the giants and actually root for them if the jets are eliminated.
Im a Jets fan. As for the Giants Im indifferent. What I dont like is Giants fans hating on the Jets.
So we beat the Patriots and its still hype, lets see how they do against the Steelers. So we beat the Steelers and its still the same old Jets.
To a Giants fan, the Jets could win the Super Bowl, cure Cancer, end world hunger and usher a true era of bi partisan politics in Washington and they would still call them lucky.
Its way too difficult to compliment them on finding a way to win games.
Same old Giants fans, need to step on someone to make themselves feel better. As long as they are not the worse team in the Meadowlands everything will be OK.
So, yea, I guess this is like the Mets and the Yankees.

Ehh, I don't hate them, I just think they are too full of themselves. Doesn't have anything to do with the Giants for me. I kinda like the Jets in a strange way, they usually play exciting games but I just think they are overrated and too cocky. The Steelers game was good but honestly I think that Polamalu would have made the result different. I never called them a bad team, a bad team doesn't win that many close games. All in all, they have a 2nd year quarterback who should keep improving if he learns to deal a little better with the cold, watch him on the sidelines and you can tell he doesn't thrive in it like some QBs.
I like a team to play to win, on field and off. What I didn't like about some prior Jets coaches is their lack of that. This is a football team not a boy scout jamboree.
A lot of New Yorkers seem to be full of themselves. Around here they fit right in.

To bad he used to be a dolphins fan when he was growing up and switched to the jets when he moved to NY. I have heard stories of him being backed by the Jets. I don't really consider him to be a real Jets fan in my book, just a show off.

some points of information regarding this post- not intended to be a pissing match either. stories are just that. Stories! doesnt mean its factual. let me be the first one to tell you, that stuff you wrote other then you considering him not to be a jets fan isnt true. Thats like a yankee fan stating that they pay freddie with his pan. dumb and not true. i find it funny how jets fans actually can make these stories up. its like saying oh i hate my mascot. and you never even met him or care to have Factual knowledge of the person. only what you heard.

Actually the part of him being a Dolphins fan was something he admitted to on 660 with Joe and Even. Most true Jets fans think he is fraud for this. Think what you want, you're entitled to your opinion. Just telling you the facts.
LMAO. amazing. love how these stories go around and around. having known him personally for many years, and sad to say it, people create these things up. but i guess you know your facts.
Im still laughing at the point that was brought up about him being supported by the jets. does he also have to claim that on taxes? please ask "those" people who speak of those stories.
