Florida Keys

I am plaaning a family trip to Florida Keys. I have a 6yo and a 3yo. All I know about the Keys is Key West that people always talk about. Is it good for kids and someone who don't know how to swim? (That's me :irked I guess I wouldn't be diving, riding a jet ski or wind surfing. I know there are other islands like the Key Largo which my wife looked into. Any suggestions?

I would love to go to Dry Tortugas but not with 2 young kids and a 2hr ferry ride. I would prefer to stay at one resort and not have to travel too far from the hotel for activities.

My wife's cousin owns a very nice hotel on Islamorada, Casa Morada. Its small, but a beautiful place, perfect for kids, very low key but very classy. Unfortunately, its also pricey.

Why don't you have your 3 yo. teach you to swim? Then you can dive, jet ski or wind surf.

Both of my kids don't know how to swim neither. :irked: May be you can teach us since your screen name is "MASTER-SWIMMER". :birthday:

Chickens are great at killing scorpions. So they are always a welcome sight in the islands.

hi was there with kids 1993 not much for kids then, maybe now more . I stayed at the Haytt in Key West dont know if it still there but it was a great hotel
