Anyone run reefbrite?

Does anyone run reefbrites over their setup? If so, I'd like to take a look at it and see what it looks like. I bought power brites but they are wayyy to spotty. might as well take laser pointers and just shoot em at the corals. Let me know!

Powerbrites are actually good supplemental lights. How high off the water do you have them?

I think the reefbrite lights up the entire tank though no?

I have them a few inches like 3 inches above water. and my tank isnt deep. Its 18 inches high

Oh. 3 inches is much too low. I had mine up about 12 inches and it lit my entire cube with no spot effect

Ah I see. I'll try it when I get home. It does give an amazing wavy effect.

Do you run them by themselves or do you supplement them with your main lighting?
