well i have an 8 year old sister. some things she likes are music, computers for her webkins or whatever, american girl dolls, bike riding, clothes, shoes, gameboy, bookbags ummmm... yeah. if she is good or ok on computers then maybe a netbook. or a kohls card. my sister loves kohls. my top choices would be something with music, not really a ipod or anything, more of like speakers or a girly boom box. there are alot of nice cheap pink girly tvs. my mom got her a sponge bob one last year, 17 inch for like 100 bucks. just trying to throw some ideas out there, good luck.

Dre, take her out to the mall where there are stores like "Toys R Us", Build a Bear, so on, and let her choose her gift. This way you know for sure she is getting EXACTLY what she wants.
My granddaughters love when we take them to the mall, and let them choose their own gifts.
And don't forget to treat them for lunch "their choice".
