It's 556HP and a 1/4 mile of 12.0 and it is a sleeper for starters it looks just like the standard CTS for the most part, It does have CTS-V badges, it has a ground effects kit and a different grille and rear/front bumpers. Also the fact you said you don't even know what is means you could be sitting at a light next to one and have no clue what it was, That is the defintion of a sleeper.

lol 12s at the strip maybe. good luck hooking that on the street. Ill take a gtr and run low 11s with a tune for the same price. Not even a contanst on the street. Big power rwd cars are just to scary on the street. You hit one bump in the road around a turn or something you're done.

I don't know I have done 90+ on some turns in my ZO6 that a GTR(my buddys car) couldn't even do, He was losing it around the turn. And I have yet to see any other cars go around it that fast. Also a GTR costs around 15-20k more than a CTS-V and a tune for that will set you back another 4-5 Gs. So take that money drop it into the caddy with the bigger blower they make for it and the new suspension and then see what you have to say about it. I mean the CTS-V beat out every M series BMW out there, beat the GTR's track time on that famous german course and so far every audi and benz they tested it aginst including the amg 63. The only drawback to the caddy is the fact it's a caddy.

4-5gs for a tune? really? come on. I don't want to make this a pissing contast but at least try use factual information. You can get a cobb ap for 1grand which comes with a 100 octane ots map. if you want an extra tune its only 500 bucks. And yea I suppose if you buy a new one, but you can pick up a 2008-2009 gtr for 60-65k with maybe 5k miles on it. I would rather have a slighty used car then new anyways, so you don't take such a huge hit. My buddy just picked one up in colorado for 62k already with the cobb ap and downpipes installed only 6k miles. The thing is mint. Oh and not to put down your freind but maybe he is just not as good a driver as you? The gtr is an excellent handling car, I drove it. Maybe not as good as a z06(still rather have a viper srt10). And when i mean taking a turn im talking about taking turns at 120-130mph. That's when trouble kicks.

like I've said before.. it's a tough decision. Fast, luxury, and reliability all in one package.. it doesn't come cheap.

It's funny.. around here you see a BMW or Mercedes every other car.. where I come from.. if you drive a BMW (3 series even)... people look at you like "who the hell do you think you are, driving a BMW?" :lol2:

Yea its a tough choice these days. Thats why I buy used cars, because you have so many more options. If you bought used, I would recomend a 2004-2008 s4, or even 2005+ a6 which you can get for low 20s now fully loaded. My buddy has a 2005 a6 4.2 fully loaded and its a great car. Sporty fun to drive, luxury all in one. Plus the thing is a tank in the snow. I do lots of driving upstate so I need something good in the snow and bad weather. Not sure if you're in the same boat. I can tell you when it comes to awd cars, only 2 do it for me and thats subaru and audi. The legacy is a great car, as well as the wrx. I had a 2006 wrx, and it was an absolute blast to drive.

First of all a tune for a GTR does run that kind of money, this isn't a regular fly by night turbo, and the Vipers haven't been any good since around 98, They only make around 300 of them a year now, still no ABS or A/C in the ACR models, well no ABS in any of them. The viper was a cool car but is now just a has been.

oh i dont think that jaa mentioned this, corvettes get great gas milage (like 22+ and thats what my 4cylinder camry gets lol) cause of the areodynamics, but......if u have a lead foot then its not going to matter lol

What are you talking about since 98. The new viper srt10 is an amazing car. My freind has both a regular srt10 and srt10 acr edition they both have a/c radio power windows etc just as any corvette. Problem with the corvette is everyone and there mom has one. Very rarely do you see a srt10 viper these days. And the acr is right on par with a zr1 trapping about 125-130 stock. Nothing wrong with vettes just not my cup of tea. I think all gms are junk but thats just me. Oh any freind just had his gtr tuned for 500 bucks so i really have no
Idea where you are getting these prices from.
