Ok found my dream car 2010 nissan gtr. This thing is a monster. 3.7 0-60 top speed a 193 and sit's you back in the seat other then it rides a little stiff, but granted it is a street legal race car. Ok it isn't my car but a customer of mines that hit the garage when pulling in, the funny part is that this car belongs to a 88 yr old man, what a waste of a good race car

yes i drove it, ive owned alot of fast cars over the years but nothing like this, had a few 400+ hp cars it's really a road track car, drove a z06 also think it might be close on a straight trach but this would eat it up on a course. it has some type of stall converter in it, have auto shift as well as manual paddle shift. ride is very solid but you can put it in comfort mode, didnt get to really drive like i would have liked to, but then again it isnt mine and couldnt afford to break anything on it, we replaced the bumper, lower valance and repaired the right side of it, nothing suspension ect to void warranty, our nissan dealership is a certified gtr facility also. at 88 yr's old doubt he is worried about picking women up lol tried to get him to adopt me and leave the car to me. in all honesty if i was a salesman i wouldnt have wanted to sell it too him, dont think he will ever really be able to appriciate what the car is

Have you driven the car ?? Does it feel faster than a z06 or zr1 ?
They tested the GTR aginst both the Z06 and ZR1 on road courses. It lost to both of them. The ZR1 ate both of them for lunch. The GTR isn't all it's cracked up to be. Nice car but not worth 85,000. I would rather have the new CTS-V, its a 4 door, has every option you can think of including NAVI. Runs the 0-60 in 3.8 and I think goverened at 188, well last I heard. And its only 70,000. And an every day driver. Not to mention the worlds fastest sedan.

Nissan's VDC is pretty sick. I had my brothers 350Z out a few years ago in the rain and the back end kicked out for a split second before the VDC took over and straightened it right out. Of course, later that day I had it in an empty Target parking lot where I was playing around with her and whipped a few donuts followed by a six gear burnout promptly followed by the cabin filling with smoke and all the gauges going to zero. Westbury Nissan took the car and read the cpu log... "were you at a track?" was the response lol. Anyway, they covered it under the warranty just because they had been struggling with an ongoing issue with the tranny in the Zs. I honestly didn't do anything to the car i haven't done to any of my mustangs with no problems so it wasn't as bad as it sounds :tongue1:.

Nissan does make a pretty fun car though, they have definitely stepped up their game the last few years.

I think my favorite feature on the GTR is that is recognizes when it has reached a track using the GPS and can automatically remove the governor. Not sure if that's on the US model but the asian and euro models have it.

this car i have always said is my dream car and even if i was a multi millionaire, forget lambos and all, this would by my car.

my g-pa was going to get this exact car but in red. i talked about it a bit in my car thread i started awhile back. he was going to get it used with a few several thousand miles on it. he loved it, but complains he cant figure anything out with it involving the dash and navi screen because there are so many gauges and buttons lol. he took it home for a week. he works for nissan for the past 24+ years now id say. he liked it alot, but too complex for he though. he was ready to but, but ended up refusing because he really wanted a convertible. sadly... i was not around nor did he tell me he had it until he returned it because he knew i would have jumped into my car and instantly and drove to his house. boy was i mad that he did not tell me. lol

it has a paddle shifter. Honestly the Z had a very tight gate and the gears were so close together that I had a hard time getting used to it and I have only driven stick except for my current car. I welcome the paddles on this car I can't imagine the kind of hell a stick would be in this thing. Besides the repairs when you screw it up alone would probably be prohibitive.

Iwould like to see that, faster than a ZR1 no way. You can keep the over sea 6 cylinder. I have a 02 vette pumping 1170 rwhp, Tubed rear with Mich 20" 355 tires that cant hold even over 120 mph. Pedal down just blows them lose.
