Power Outage

Here we go again, all day today no freakin power in my block. Just started making a comeback from a crash caused by a power outage that lasted over two days in April. Now I had started to cycle my LR again and it happens again. I'm hoping it comes back before the backup juice on the Vortechs dies, I gotta tell you its awesome having them and the battery. The temp is over 90 in the apartment so the tank must be dying again. Cant win, might just quick for good now!!!:irked:

Rosebank area. Power came back sometime after 6 this morning. Things appear to be ok, no odors from the tank and that vortech ran right through the outage.

Can you get any compensation from ConEd for this? I am sure businesses in your area must be in trouble too....

I bought a couple of battery-operated air pumps from Alex at Aquatic Express in case I lose power again.

Why not buy a gas powered generator for your house, or the tank?

Couple hundred bucks, but so is losing all your stuff and restarting.
