So, I just signed onto MR and had my volume up and was greeted by a T-Rex roaring at me from an ad quite loudly. I understand the need for ads. But do we really need one that makes noise?

For those of you who use firefox, get the addon called Adblock Plus. Its works with EVERY SITE even on like youtube, where there are ads before the actual video.

i installed the adblock plus for firefox but still get the roar.....what am i doing wrong? i am computer illiterate!!!!

Have you enabled the adblock? When you open firefox, on the top right hand corner you should see the stop sign. It should be red which means its blocking ads

got it. i enabled it and clicked block when i hover the mouse over the ad. that did it. thanks.
