If the ref made that offsides call against a serious soccer country, him and his family would be shot.

I couldn't watch this game as I was working today, but I heard it was a bad call. Absolutely terrible.

However, I also heard that USA played awful in the first half.

There were many horriable call but also some that went the US way... But most bad calls were against the US... Also the bad calls wouldnt have been a problem is the US didnt come out with a mental block and give up 2 pretty easy goals... As the say when I used to play sports.. Dont put yourself in a situation where the refs can decide the game for you... BUT overall game was pretty exciting to watch and it was a great comeback. WED Morning USA vs Algeria.. Above all.. with a Win US advances... Lets bring out A Game and Lets go USA!.

They didn't ban him from the world cup. He is not allowed to ref any more USA games or the actual championship game. He has reffed 2 games since the blown call.

I'm actually in Berlin right now and this place is absolutely insane with football fever. They will get something like 300,000 people in the street near the Brandenburg gate to watch the next game!!!
