when the first one came out i went to see it like 10 times in the theaters. I am unsure bout this one now all the plots are totally diffrent.

PFF I am NOT impressed..looks like they destroyed it already. They got that stupid blonde hoe Geri Ryan I think her name is to play Sonya Blade? REALLY? Come onnnnnnnn the original Sonya was hot you can't replace her with THAT.. SMH. Barakka looks like a tribal freak show meanwhile the real Barrakka looked like some type of crazy vampire. Johnny Cage is dead? He was the best character in the other ones killing him is just flat out stupid not to mention the guy isn't even the original Johnny Cage. They replace JC with a kid who looks 20 and SB w/ a 50 year old? Who ever did the casting on this mess is a complete idiot. I wouldn't even buy the bootleg let alone waste 11 bucks to see this garbage in the theatre.

I thought the visuals and fight choreography were great. Not sure I care for the new "origins," but this is just a promo to demonstrate the director's "vision" so who knows what the final movie will give us. I know it's not terribly faithful to the original game, but I think it's got potential.

I like the idea behind scorpion being in jail under his own will...Subzero still alive, all building up to what im sure will be a great main fight event. I would see it.
