:frown:OMG chief you have no idea I was so upset all day I couldn't believe it. We lost a legend today..one of the greatest rock vocalists to ever live. If you people don't know Dio..I don't even know what to say. SMH.
Ronnie was that celebrity who was above the celebrity. He never let fame get to his head and always appreciated his fans from the time he was alone to black sabbath to solo again back with black sabbath reunited as Heaven and Hell. Which is his best song ever in my opinion,Holy Diver is my #2! He would stay at every interview/ appearance shake everyone's hand and make sure everyone got a picture and an autograph who wanted one. He was also very intelligent and political he cared alot about this country and our environment. Not only did we lose an amazing musician today but we lost a gentleman and a scholar.

Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.

RJD was one of my all time favorite vocalists and not a single poster mentioned all of the great work he did with Ritchie Blackmore in Rainbow - and as he pointed out on the title track "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll". RIP Ronnie.
