Looking for some ideas on where too go for an august vacation. Since August is hurricane season i'm thinking either Aruba or Curacao. Would love too do an all inclusive but it really doesn't matter. Going to be 4 people. 2 couples. and we don't mind staying in the same room.

anyone have any recommendations for hotels or other destinations?

Yes, and as of today The IMF gave Greece a 3year 30 billion dollar loan. Now when they hammer thru these funds in 3 years...well that will be another riot.....so until them....;)...All kidding aside, Tourism is Huge acounting for over 11% of there GDP. The islands will be fine....And by August new leadership will be in Greece. Just stay away from Athens for a while.

I went to Hedonsim once, Breezes resorts own both of them and they give you day passes to go visit and check it out. Nothing like sitting in a bar and looking up at a glass jacuzzi and seeing well you can use your imagination.

Another rediculous Vacation is Marocco......All I can say is you heard it here first...lol. This place is bannanas.....Dirt cheap and the most exotic influx of women you will ever see. Also Dubai is great as well.....All the other places mentioned here are good but I have been to all of those and none has surpassed Greece and Morroco.....TRUST ME.....YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT REGRET IT>>>>If you are paranoid of GREECe go to Morocco, if not try Dubai....although Dubai was very expensive...thats why Morocco is my #2 and if your not Greek pretty much tied for #1. Thats a huge compliment considering I have a house in Greece and go there often......

Jonny,
Thought I'd throw in my two cents:
All of my vacations have been all inclusive, which I love.
Jamaica was my favorite vacation by far. I stayed at a Sandals and loved it.
I did not care for Antigua.
Riviera Maya, Mexico also beautiful.
Came back from a cruise in February (Oasis of the Seas) to Bahamas, St.Thomas and St. Maarten. Didn't spend a lot of time on any of the islands, but Coki beach in St. Thomas was beautiful. I personally wouldn't go on a cruise again, though.
Hope this helps!

Hedonism II Hedonism II opened in 1976 as "Negril Beach Village" and took its current name in 1982. The resort was built by the Government of Jamaica at a cost of $10 million.[2] It is on 22 acres (89,000 m2) at the northern end of Negril beach and has 280 rooms (2-story buildings). A fifty percent (50%) interest in the hotel was taken by the Superclubs in 1989[3]. The Superclubs purchased the remaining fifty percent (50%) of the resort in 1999 from the Financial Sector Adjustment Company Limited (FINSAC)[4], a unit of the Government of Jamaica, for $12.25 million[5].

Hedonism III Hedonism III followed in 1999 in Runaway Bay. It is on 10 acres (40,000 m2) and has 225 rooms (3-story buildings).

that sounds pretty interesting... will have to look into it... =D

http://www.hedonism-3.com/ - i have a whole month off in august. see you guys there?
hmmm perhaps a girls only vacation??

There's never been a better time to book world famous Hedonism III ... because right now "a threesome is a freesome!" If three females make reservations together, the third stays FREE when sharing a room with her two friends!!

I was at runaway bay breezes last year..the pamphlets they had for HEDONISM were pretty much soft porn lol. Seems like an orgy of a place at night.
