Sad story

Some people here who know me on MR know what has been going on in my life with my father being ill im sad to say the struggle has come to an end on 5/2 at 4:22 am it was over. RIP pop your gonna be missed and some day we will see one another again but not to soon. So life being hard enough with 5 kids a wife and a business to run and only walking around carrying a load on my back that can only be best described as the weight of a 1,000,000 gallon tank life just gets harder by the minute and so when my wifes father calls me yesterday to see how im holding up after losing my father he lays the load on my shoulders to tell me and my wife that he has cancer. so with a father in the funeral home we have to pray and be concerned with the fact that this man is also ill. bottom line is life really sucks for some of us so lets all pray for good health for ourselves and our family members.

well i'll always be here for ya!!! Things will get better in time. Your father is in a greater place now, no more suffering. And i'm sure he'll be watching over you telling all his friends up there how great you and your family are!!!

sorry for your loss, i lost both of my parents over the past year and my father-in-law to cancer 2 years ago. hopefully you and your family can pull together and be there for each other. i hope everything goes well with your Father-in-law.

Speaking from personal experience, Always remember that as hard as it is or gets, your life is what it is today because they shared their life with you, and you will always have that.

My sympathies to you and your family, and a prayer that your father-in-law receives a miracle. My parents had seven kids, all of us grown and most with our own families. It's amazing that my father is still the strength of the whole family and cannot imagine life without him, even in his old age.

P.S.--- Don't know if this helps any but hes in a much better place now man- not sick anymore, no morphine drip for pain. I believe in God and heaven even though Im not "religious" I am a spiritual person so I do believe hes lookin down at you, feeling better than he had in a long time and watchin over you and your little guys.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my mother on 5-2-09 and I wish I could say it gets easier but it doesn't. It sucks, but you have to know that he is in a better place and is no longer suffering.
