My prayers and condolences go out to the families of Jersey City PD officers
Shaun Carson and Robert Nguyen.
a horrible way to die on Christmas nite :sigh1:

I just spoke to my old partner who was there last nite, there's sadness fustrastion and anger there. they still havent recovered Robert Nguyen's body yet and they were suspending the search till tomorrow.

I wish there was something I could do to help recover his body.
I feel the pain of thier families and fellow workers. On june 11, 1991 we lost one of own PO Kenneth Hanson, he was posing as a victim in an Air/Sea/Rescue demonstation.
may he rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with their families as well. Horrible accident. Drawbridge was open at the wrong time. It's horrible that the drawbridge operator couldn't communicate to the Police Officers that the drawbridge was going to be open. From what I've heard on the news they were on that bridge already on the other side and heading back to Jersey City.

I'm not blaming the drawbridge operator just wish they were aware. The conditions didn't help either.

I'm a couple of days late but I'm really relieved that the body of PO Robert Nguyen was recovered. Po John Drzyl of the NYPD Scuba team made the recovery, which I'm sure was a very difficult thing to deal with. my prayers again go out to their families andthe Members of Jersey city PD

I was at the firehouse when I heard about this on Christmas and man it bobthered me to hear about such a tragedy to lose two of jerseys finest Im just happy they found the body it would if been sad not to give him a proper funeral with out his remains in the coffin god bless there families
