There isnt a stretch of road long enough for a worked vette no matter how much you do to it to race a bugatti. The vette doesnt have enough room under the hood to put enough turbos and add ons to compete with a car that basically has 2 motors and 4 turbos, and a car that was designed around that motor.

And like others have said after 900,000 of work---its still a chevy corvette that looks like every other 100,000 vettes on the road- at least with the bugatti its a bugatti that youll only see a few in your lifetime IF your lucky enough to see any

Were not talking bang for your buck- the ultimate aero is not the best bang for your buck- exotic supercars are all about what they can do not if you can afford one. And I KNOW if I drove a bugatti and you drove a vette and you raced me-I would NEVER see the corvette rear end in front of me, nevermind pull away from me. Not to mention neither you, I or anyone else on this forum unless theyve driven professionally for years could handle the power of the bugatti or a car that would compete with it.

The buggati actually has 2 keys, one to start the car and you can drive it like that and another to actually turn on the other 2 turbos and lower the car and it makes the wing come out so you can make a run at 241. The buggatti needs I think something like 4-5 miles to reach its top speed. They don't tell you that in the brochures. As well that if both keys are not turned on that car is not beating all the cars it is supposed to. So if someone had the buggatti and you pulled up next to it at a light. Chances are you are gonna take it because the normal driving mode will not allow you to drive around in the race mode. There fore the car is running with only 600 of its 1000 horses. I know 600 is still a lot but the way the car is designed it needs all 1000hp and all 4 turbos to do its work. These little details they fail to mention as you watch the car on you tube and read the numbers. What about the one key number? those are not listed, and the car running in one key mode will get eaten alive by a ZR1 and any other exotic not to mention some lesser cars.

LOL is going to seem like I have a bone to pick with you but this is not the case----
They had the veyron on the show top gear with the brit. They did cover all the distances that it took to get up to speed actually and the driving modes- you have to take a course given by bugatti as well to have the car unlimited if I remember right. Mainly because they said most people realize it takes a bit to get up to speed but dont realize what it takes or how long it takes to stop.

Heres a vid listen at the 3 minute timeline- after 18 seconds he was doing 188mph and had to start breaking for the turn at the 1 mile mark.

Hmm havent heard of any other car doing that including vettes, skylines or anything else.

Yea I saw that video were the guy started to tear up from the wind. And I remember the car got up and going fast but after 200MPH it took what seemed for ever to hit the top speed. They did that run at the VW testing track in Germany.
