problem with 7-11 owner

my wife is a crazy nut job when it comes to her coffee.she went to 7-11 to get a fresh cup of coffee.when she got there there was a pot just being made so she decided to wait for it to finish brewing.a amn walked up to her and said there are 3 other pots here take 1 of them.she replied "no i like to know that it was just made" he rudly said with a loud voice "whatever" she ignored him cause she just thought it was some jerk.as the pot was slowly coming to the end of brewing it was just dripping so my wife took an almost empty pot put it under the maker that just made a fresh pot so she can pour her coffee the man came charging at her like she just killed a kitten and yelled like a mad man "you dont work her you wait till that pot is completly done and dont ever switch my pots again.and if you have a problem with that speak to the owner ummm wait thats me "my wife was so embarresed and horrified she left came home and was in almost tears.i am very protective of her and my first instincts are to go there and beat the crap out of him which i am still thinking about it but im going to calm myself down.what would you guys do in this situation

Dont go beating anyone up for a cup of coffee... go with her tomorrow and talk nicely to the guy. Im sure he will have a different tone if he sees you with her.

Definatley do not compound your problems by beating him sensless, although he deserves it. He is an A#$%hole and probably has been for life so talking to him may not do it either. I would never buy anything there again and make everyone aware of the location of the incident so they will avoid the place also. At least you will feel better knowing he will never get another dollar of yours. Maybe write a letter to the 7-11 franchise hq and let them no that your wife was harassed, it may not do anything but you never know. Where was the 7-eleven?

Euro has a point but that's not even the situation it wasn't about a cup of coffe..the dude DISRESPECTED his wife..the mother of his children you don't let that slide. But you also have to consider the fact that it's a 7 11! There are CAMERAS EVERYWHERE..you don't want to get ARRESTED..if anything wait till he gets out of work or maybe even follow him home where there are most likely no cameras LOL then you talk to him and if it escalates you are covered Just the fact that you know where he lives should be enough to scare him into an apology if not some free coffee.

thats right he did isrespect the mom of my kids my wife.i cant follow the guy home i wouldnt want stalking charges and battery charges on my head.i did call 7-11 headquarters in texas and filed a complaint.i got a case #.last thing i need is to be put in jail..my tank is just back to normal .thanks for the input.i calmed down and did the reasonable thing.i know nothing will come of this but at least i did something and did not let it slie.my 200 dollars a month will go somewhere else..thye sell coffee and cigs other places

well of course that's why I said confront him with no cameras around so in case something DID happen you would not get locked up..and either way he would have no proof. You need proof to convict in this great nation LOL. Now that you made a formal complaint I wouldn't advise it because that's your motive on record and that right there is enough to make you the #1 suspect in case something happens to the guy. Now just find another 7 11 lol

I also doubt the guy is the owner most people who own franchises don't work at them, they pay other people minimum wage to do it for them. He might be a manager IF anything..either way he obviously takes his job way too seriously.

Duke, you did the right thing! You never know how corporate office will take reports on a franchise making their establishment looking bad. They know word gets around, and they loose business -$$$$$.
I do realize that the caveman in you guys makes you want to run out, and beat the dude senseless. But come on, whats the point? You go to jail, and now who is going to protect your wife & children?

Why can't you just live with the fact that your wife may have done something wrong? It's not her kitchen where she can do whatever she pleases. If those are the rules of the store than they are the rules. Where does this issue of self entitlement come from? By not letting the pot brew fully you're actually making coffee weaker for everyone else that comes behind your wife. Besides if you actually spent $200 a month there I think they would recognize you as a regular, because my guy has no problem with me sticking my 24oz cup under the coffer maker but I always ask first, even though I've been doing it for years.
