I haven't had Red Stripe in a long time. I forgot what it tastes like. I will try some tonight to see if it actually is a good beer or everyone just likes drinking out of the cool cough medicine bottle :D

Some of my favorites off the top of my head...

I am a big fan of the Rogue Brewery - their Chipotle Ale and Smoke Ale are amazing.

Dogfishhead makes one called Raison D'Etre that is delightfully complex.

This time of year I get excited for all the Oktoberfest offerings to come out. IMHO Spaten is the best.

Peak Organic Brewery does a Nut Brown and a Pomegrante Wheat that are both tasty.

For an 'everyday' beer I have to go with Spaten.

Sam Smith Nut Brown. That was an afterthought.

The Aventinus is too spicy for me. Cloves or something, I dunno. I tend to like the heavier stuff but only when they stay away from that. :)

Haha - I just saw Paoli. I grew up in Boyertown (near Pottstown, PA).

spicy? are you sure we are talking the same beer? i find it sweet and somewhat chocolatey(sp?).
i would call it smooth compared to the dogfish head raison.
