Anyone watch it yet? I saw it this morning/yesterday night at 12:05am. THAT MOVIE WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! Heath Ledger really went to town with that role, and Christian Bale was as great of a Batman as ever. There were some minor dumb scenes here and there but all in all this is really the number 1 movie of the summer. I would put this movie ahead of even Iron Man.

Hey, I just got home from watching the 7pm show on 69th st.
It was AWESOME!!!!!! Seriously, and yes I would consider it a tieto ahead of Iron Man. The reason It would be so close is because of the salient issues brought up in each film.

I liked it so much my friends and I are going to book tickets to see the IMAX version some time soon.

Seriously, see the movie. Then there will be no spoilers.
Btw, it's 2.5 hrs worth of absolute goodness.

Yeah I definitely want to go watch it in IMAX, The film was shot with the IMAX cameras or something like that. Too bad though all the shows this week are sold out.

It was so amazing, saw it it last night. I was blown away and kept checking my watch to see how much more awesomeness I could expect.

Oh man that chase scene was just so freaking sweet, and I loved how it ended. The turn around from the bat bike was kinda dumb and unecessary though.

I guess so far I am the only one who thought It kinda sucked ... Yes Keith Ledger was a great joker, (my girl and I still laugh at how he always was licking his lips when spoke) but I think Christian Bale is a horrible batman ... Never really liked the way the movies progressed since the error of Michael Keaton .... (i believe he played the most believable batman) ...

I also think the actor who played 2 face was great after the the fact that his face was burned off ... before that part of the movie i thought he was a horrible actor ... I will agree the chase scenes were good but not amazing .. also the movie seemed to drag somewhat in parts ...

I would give it a B- overall ...

I totally agree with you nanoreefer. I dont really think that Ledger was a good joker, he took all the dark humor out of the role. It was ok but Nickolsons Joker was the best ever head and shoulders above Ledgers. It wouldve been good if I didnt go to see it for the joker. Twoface deserved a larger role in the Christian Bale version of Batman too. Be on the watch for the Riddler in the next one.

PS what was with Bales batman voice? WTF

Did anyone feel the movie was just to long? I'm not sure that it drag but it just seem there was to much in the movie. Because of that there was a lot of things that had to play out before it ended. I think that made it seemed very long, even though it was only 2 1/2 hours long.


Still it was very good, though I liked the Spiderman I & II better.


One other thing, the movie actually had a very good plot and a lot of acting in it. They didn't sacrifice plot for long action scenes, which it seems all the movies do nowadays.

I havn't seen the new one yet but that annoyed me in the last one. He changes his voice when he puts the suit on...Stupid

I think they have him do that for two reasons, first it disguises his voice from Bruce Wayne, second it makes him seems like he's crazy or over the edge. And yes it was annoying.
