Yankees have 26 rings and they are in the playoffs every year. No other team in professional sports has won that many championships.

I am 29 and have been a baseball fan my entire life. Your argument makes no sense. I was comparing Rings between the Red Sox and the Yankees. Who were 2 teams out of 16 in the 1920's. Yankees won their first world series in 1923. Red Sox were around back then. They then went on to win 26 championships and the Red Sox have only won 5.

Also since 1962 Mets have won 2, Yankees have won 7.

You know what is worse than making the playoffs and not winning? Not making the playoffs.

I am a Mets fan and I hate to see anyone gets fired. However, I think majority of Mets fans wanted him go anyway. Funny thing is how poorly Mets handled the situation. They really didn't have to wait this long nor they have to do it at midnight in westcoast where most of Mets fans were sleeping in eastcoast.

I don't think it's anything to do with his race or any his experiences. Unfortunately this business is about what have you done for me lately. Mets wasn't producing and last year collapse doesn't help either. We had high hope, I think it was just a hype, but the way it's going nowaday, something has to be done. If he was in other club, he probably got fired as well.

Goodluck to Willie. And I hope we can clean up Mets, means garbage players and other staffs, ASAP. Maybe we'll do better next year.

#2 what world series did they buy exactly?

#3 can you name the players that they bought>?

#4 who had the highest payroll in 96? hint not the yankees.

last i looked they have a better farm system, better players and better stadium. so they dont suck. worry about your own team before you start hating and bringing the red sux into this. they cant say a word other then 04. for everything the red sux are said, i can match or beat.

I can agree on most of the stuff you stated because i'm a fair minded person that can admit on facts, But you might have forgotten about your boys doing something that has never been done in history, at least not in my life time, The yanks were up in the division playoff 3 games to 0 and lost the series, not only did they lose but they lost to the last team any yankee fan would of wanted to lose to, which one do you think is actually worse, I think that was worse, but it's just my opinion

And as for willie, i did not care that he was a yankee, like people would have a problem because he played for that team. He was a awesome hall of famer and i wanted to give him a fair chance, but he just was not cutting it. i wish him well in his future endevors, i just don't think he is ready to be a manager yet
