OK, Jer wants to play. How much does the rental equipment suck on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the least and 10 being the highest?

rental equipment is not bad. the mask is the one piece that may give you trouble.
the less expensive masks can fog up, though in the summer I don't think this will be a problem. the markers will vary from field to field but they all should work well. they won't have the range or precision of the custom markers, given that you can adjust your style of play to suit the differences. the camo jump suits you can rent will be hot!
not hot looking but hot to wear. maybe look through your clothes and see if you have something else to wear. as long as it's not neon colored you should be alright in the woods.

Is it just our group on the field or do we play against another group?

you need 20 people to play as a group.

we'll go as walk ons. we can choose to play together on the same side. it's up to the ref's to decide how many people get put on each field. teams can be anywhere from 10 or more players. so if we have 6 people they will combine us with other people to make us a larger team.

its a pmi piranha 2k3 i think.....I've kinda forgotten by now. I know it's pmi piranha just don't remember the model. I put in some upgrades though. Electro trigger, 16" Tiller Barrel (knockoff of some good barrel), the green drop forward you see on the bottom, a Nitro tank, electronic hopper (forgot the brand), and the black ball feed.
