I didn't lose it. Two men broke into my hotel room at 3am and robbed me at knife point.

This is so disappointing,knowing i just got back from a vacation that i had a awesome time on, i can't even begin to think how awful you must of felt. I would have love to be in the room next to yours and here a peep. It's people like this that can bring out the worst in me, as thoughts like this that race through my mind and irritate the hell out of me. I'm really sorry you had to experience that.
By the way. i can't begin to think what your pics would of looked like with a better camera as to these already left me breathless

I appreciate all of the kind thoughts. It was terrible, but I have put it behind me (other than to mourn the loss of my camera). You know, in all of the traveling I have done in "dangerous" (please note the quotation marks) places, this is the ONLY time anything even remotely like this has even happened to me. You know, I did what I could do and I tried to put it behind me and have a good rest of my vacation (the incident happened three days in). I'll replace the camera eventually.
