i heard that the one i brought is just a demo. i wondered why it costed 40$ but when i went to game stop they said it will be update on the game do anyone have any info on it?

GT5 is "to be announced" for US release in 2009. GT5 Prologue (i.e. teaser) is what's available now.

I wouldn't say is a demo. You get around 60 cars and 6 or more tracks plus you get to race online.

There aren't any racing game besides the GT series that can give you all that for 40 dollars.

While not a "demo" (i.e. full of bugs), it is also not the full game. It's a preview of what GT5 will have to offer. 60 vehicles is a small amount compared to previous full versions in the GT series. Also the fact that you can download the game via the Playstation Network leads some people to think "demo".
