Quick Snap sprinkler any experience

Hey everyone:

After spending some "mula" on my reef I basically killed my sprinkler system budget for this summer. I was thinking of the following:

You just hook it up to a hose. For my lawn I'll need about 4-5 of these and I was going to get two timers so I'm looking at $320 + shipping versus $3k.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has used this product or something similar and what their experience is.

Spending about $3k for a sprinkler system is pretty expensive IMO

Or if anyone else has any ideas for a DIY sprinkler system please post..

get a shovel , a chipping gun , to dig what must be dug .....get piping or tubing and fittings and sprinkler heads and a timer and DIY =) then cover up your dug out areas 1-2-3 lollllits more work than it sounds how big is your lawn

Do what I did: Get a few quotes in the fall after the warm season has passed. You are sure to get lower quotes than if you do it now. Keep a list of everyone you get quotes from and tell each company what the other is offering. Make sure to throw names around and BS all the way through.

I was able to get a 4 zone system installed with 32 sprinkler heads for $1,050. Keep in mind that my plot is only 50x100. I only need to run each zone for 5 minutes because so much water comes out of the system at once. In the long run it is well worth it. You'll sleep better at night and have something extra to offer if you decide to sell your house.

Let me know if you want a quote from the guy I used. He's pretty reasonable.

Leoskee: My plot is only 50x150. Was that for the both the back and front yard? If so that's a great price.
