This new Nvidia graphics card has hit the streets and boasts 1GB of memory. Qualified boards support QUAD SLI configuration!!! I've always had Nvidia and never owned ATI. I've always heard some of my buddies complain about ATI delay of releasing drivers which keeps gamers out of the loop. Anyone confirm this and if so, have they improved?

The 9775 is way to expensive as I stated in my other thread before it was closed for some reason but, no worries. You are right. Those two combined with pc2 1000 memory? *DROOOOOOL*. But unfortunately, they barely have any dx10 games available at the moment. The price isn't bad either. But I don't think you can put on a water cooling block on that card telling by the fan configuration and that it's two cards squeezed together. The two neg things i've heard about this card so far is the heat and that it locks up from time to time. But in regards to it locking up, insiders say that updated drivers will cure that. I've always wondered how to become one of those lucky few that get their hands on these hardwares of gold to test and try them out for free.

It was closed because of your last post in that thread.

Nvidia is a good corp, so is ati. I use mostly ati in the computers I build. I also have been doing alot of research on the new nvidia cards and they are very impressive. Either card will perform well however the DX10 games are becoming more available and if you upgrade to a card make sure it is dx10 compatible. SLI and Crossfire are good too but if the individual card can perform like that then you are ahead of the game when you double it up. Depending on if your motherboard and power supply can handle it.

I also use BFG. Love their customer service and their warranty is awsome. BUT, and that is a big but, I modified my card and put a danger den water block on it. Which, voids the warranty:shhh:. They sell cards with water blocks already installed with full warranty now but that bumped the price on them as well. As soon as sites like newegg put them on, people started snatching them until they were sold out. I always lay back until they smooth out all the bugs cause it's no fun gaming and you freeze up.....then unfreeze and see your body laying their riddled with rounds and some noob swearing he killed ya cause he's T337. LOL. Also, I wait 'till the "newly introduced price" goes down some. I haven't gamed since BF2 annoyed me with their patches that needed patches to fix the other patches and all the hackin goin on as well. But since then, I've been seeing alot more sun lately and I'm losing that pasty skin tone.

Thats a great tactic. It wasnt too long ago when the SLI boards were a screaming nightmare. (had a few issues myself). I still am rocking the 8800 gtx and for now its great. I too am gonna just sit back and watch them fix all their issues before I upgrade.

Max PC and PC gamer rate the 8800 cards the best in the market right now.

I usually wait til they review any hardware or software before I buy it anyway for me. If it's for someone else I explain to them what their options are and let them make the decision when it comes to new tech like this.

Gamers always want the best new tech ;)
