You know whats funny they said it was 3 1/2 miles of the cost of the US which means technically that if you have ashes of a relative you can find this dive spot and plant them yourself for free. Since no one can own those waters. They really dont own the property they are laying people to rest in. Sounds like a scam and a half if you ask me. These guys are simply paying for cement and fuel to get to the dive spot. On my next dive trip if anyone wants to be burried on a live reef. Please send me your remains and 6,000 dollars please specify the type of coral or moray eel you would liked to be placed next to. for and extra 1000 dollars I will mix you in with some cheese whiz and actually feed you to the fish. Of course you can have the empty can of cheese whiz for you memories. Also if you are on a limited budget. Just bring your cremated remains to my house and I will add you to my sand bed in my tank. RIP
think he said 3/4 of a mile off shore. He also keeps using the phrase "giving back" but he never explains really how this helps. The structure is already built so whether you buy a hole (basically) in it or not, an artificial reef has been created. The other part is, and I realize he isn't a scientist, but I guess it never occurred to him that there may be a reason why it's just a stretch of sand and not a thriving reef......
