I am going through a brain fart.
I am trying to run MAC OSX on my Laptop. For those of you that don't know, this is possible in 2 enviroments either direct boot, or VMware.
I have a dell X300 which I am getting a (PAE) physical address error. It is enabled on my VMware configuration file settings and my boot.ini is set correctly. But before anybody breaks their neck trying to figure this out my model is not on the Hcl list of Osx86. but in my google research I have seen people Have succes with it. Specs are 80gb Partioned 4 times with 764mb ram 1.2ghz centrino running XP.
My other problem is on my E1405 which is on the Hcl. I can't get IIS service installed setup can not or will not install a Dll file called staxmem. It is in my i386 folder and even seen during the install but it will not proceed.. I've tried the first Msdn solution and will now try the second solution or safe mode install.
Any help on the first would be greatly appreciated because I have now given up on that pc and I am currently working on getting the IIs problem resolved. Thanks.
