I was close to buying a nano last week for my daughter's birthday. I'm sure glad now that I didn't.

I wonder how long it will be before the technology makes it to a laptop.

I feel bad for those people who bought the iPhone for $599. I like the touch, but would really want more than 16g. Thinking I might wait for the 2nd gen Touch.

They have 4G iphone on the clearance section for $300. So my friend called apple yesterday to order one and he found out that they have refurbished 4G iphone for $200 so he ordered that one instead. Damn, $200 for iphone is pretty good deal I think.

It's the AT&T contract that's the dealbreaker, plus the fact that I just got in on the sprint $30/mo SERO deal for 2yrs. If the bluetooth rumor is true for the touch, maybe someone will be able to figure out how to tether it to a cell and the web will be accessible everywhere like I do with the Nokia 777.

My friend has AT&T phone and service isn't that bad. I have Verizon and yeah I got great reception but I hate their attitude, their customer service sucks. BTW, you can unlock iphone so you can use it on your own provider except Verizon I think. I don't know how much it will cost to unlock it though. Only GSM network, so I am stuck with my Verizon til my contract end, I think it will be over by end of this year.

$30 per month? wow, that's great deal. But I heard Sprint service is the worst out there. But I guess if you don't use your phone that much, I guess it doesn't really matter.

it's actually alot better than the tmobile service I had prior to this. Plus the included unlimited data and texting is great.
