Humboldt squid are very aggressive and stay in the deeper water during the day and come up at night to feed. And no, they don't run from people they will come up, investigate and even kill people (they have been on the discovery channel a few time :wink1: ). They are dangerous and will gang up on larger prey items.

They can even snap and go on a cannibalistic rampage. They're pretty scary and have very short life cycles. Think of an Aquatic Little Shop of Horrors.
