Anyone else using it?
The text looks a little "fish eyed" but it seems the same as firefox in terms of speed.

i use this on linux(use to be Mozilla)
i don't quite like the large tool bars at the top n the looks a bit flat. i still uses it as a bkup though.

I was talking about Safari not firefox!!!

Safari (Apple's browser for Mac) is now available for Windows in a Beta version.

I was asking if anyone here is using it or has tried it. I am using it and finding it to be very beta so far. The text is a bit off and it seems to be the same speed as firefox so far.

ha, it looks like safari on a mac
All their new apps use the "gun metal grey" window. It looks like iTunes actually. Firefox is much nicer IMO, lots of visual "glitches" like the funny text

Safari for PC is a pretty cool idea. I use K-meleon also a mozilla based browser, but its faster than firefox. One mac program i would love to have on PC would be Garageband. Let me know when that comes out.

Gonna try it fritz, thanks for the info. Will pm you once i'm done testing it. I have 4 browsers installed now and seem to like IE, sorry firefox but since 2.0 I jumped back to IE, firefox really slowed down after that update and I am getting faster responses with IE than ff. I also have opera but it's problem is that it is not accepted by most major secure sites and netscape which is collecting dust.

Done with a quick test. Safari uses more memory than my other browsers but it translates pages much quicker. Hate the soft text need to tinker more with it, also need to find a way to set three home pages, otherwise I like it.
