Anyone who is a die-hard Stern fan Artie just announced he's leaving in January. I'm sick:dead1: over this. I can't believe he's going. He did such a better job when he relpaced Jackie the Jokeman. Artie I'm gonna hate to see you go you fat slob.............:sad2:

He made some kind of BS announcement today that his doctor told him he neds time off from EVERYTHING. Some guy called today to break his balls about Howard trying to set him up on a date, and he got pissed then dropped this bomb. I hope we don't read about someone finding him dead in some hotel room.......

Well I can tell you one thing. Howard and Artie got into it pretty good today. They kinda had a knock down drag out on air. Artie was pissed and it seems to me that he used the fight with Howard as an excuse to announce he's leaving. I think he's had this planned for awhile. He's looking for bigger and better. He's been talking about leaving since before Sirius.
I like Artie a lot too but he has gotten so stale over the last few months repeating the same jokes, prefacing each statement with "and, um" he is just burnt. He hates getting up so early, gained over 100 pounds, lost his girlfriend, he need a change of venue. As long as someone good joins Howard, and you heard Adam Corolla lately, Hum, not too bad. And please forget about Jackie, his jokes suck and he laughs after every word like a moron.
Jackie???? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surehe was calling as soon as he heard about Artie!! I wonder how Adam would fit in on a permanent basis. It might work out. You're right about Artie. VERY STALE lately. But this is such a cop out on his part. He's been looking for any excuse to quit. Thank God for Richard and Sal at least. I wouldn't mind seeing od Levy on for awhile, he's a maniac.
Adam Corolla is probably too big in HIS mind to be the third banana on Howards show. He must have a contract too even though he hates working with danny bonadouchebag. I guess they will rotate comics IF Artie goes and I hope they pick a good one, not some of the stiffs they had before artie.

Rev Bob Levy would die to get into that seat, though I don't think he's a good fit. I think Greg Fitzsimmons would be a good fit, and his father use to do a radio show so he knows what it take. I for one would like to see Jackie comeback, that would add a lot of tension to the show, though I think Howard doesn't want that.
DUDE!!!!! Did you hear the blow out him and Howard got into today? AND if you remember before they even left KRock Artie wasn't sure what he was gonna do. He did't wanna commit to a long contract. The only reason he has anything going is because he's on the HS show. He was dead in the water before the show. I heard the whole fight twice and they both had good points. But as for his "work" he seems very ungreatful for what he has and what it has given him. If he leaves, he will have a few deals for a short time then fall off the face of the planet just like Jackie.
I love how people cry about their multi million dollar jobs that sit and talk all day, laugh non stop and have a good time, basically do nothing. I wish one of my problems was taking a break from a good time. Granted he does have issues to deal with but leaving the show will do nothing but make it worse...
