I know that they have these new ones at NYSC but dont know the name of them exactly but they look very pricey. If you are interested i could find out the name of them. They are quiet, really cant hear the person running.
Hmm, that quiet and your going to lay down some large change. Definitely look at some commercial models for quietness. I have a Smooth Fitness treadmill, I think it's fairly quiet, not silent:ANYWORD:. I've had mine for six year with no troubles. It has a ten year warranty for the motor. The new ones have a lifetime warranty on the motor and frame. That's what they say anyway, I have not read the fine print. When this one craps out, I'll definitely get anothe Smooth Fitness treadmill.
Good luck finding a quiet or worse yet something that will last you more than a few months for 500.00. You really get what you pay for with treadmills. Alot of factors should contribute to what type of treadmill you buy. Your Weight first and foremost(and most important). The heavier you are the larger the motor and sturdier the frame needs to be. I'm only saying this because of my first hand experience with a sub $500.00 model I orginally purchased. It was made by proform and thank god I bought the warranty. Well a little about me. I'm 235lbs 6'1 stocky build(NYC Firefighter). That treadmills was toast with me on it. After they gave me a refund I ended up buying a Reebok treadmill that ended up costing me an additional 1200.00. Total to my door the treadmill ended up costing me 1600.00 I've had it for over a year and not a single problem.
