FS - 2006 Mini Cooper S - Checkmate Edition

I am expecting new baby and I really need to sell this car so I can get the bigger one. So far my dealership offered me $16k for trade in. But I know it worth way more than 16k, I paid $27k+ and Mini has the highest resell value. However, I want to sell this car fast so I think I am going to put $2k less than what KBB private party value (good condition, mine is excellent condition).

KBB ppv came out $21,865 (excellent), $20,435 (good) and $18,540 (fair). I haven't put it on cars.com or autotrader or craigslist yet.

I am looking for $18,500 (firm) for mine. I think this is excellent price (manhattanreefs member special, LOL).

It's Cooper S hatchback.
Color - Copper White (like egg shell color) with block roof.
Little less than 33,000 miles.
Checkmate edition - include sports package, two tone sits (dark blue leather and cloth in the middle) and dark blue panel.
6 speed automatic with paddle shifter on steer wheel.
Harman Kardon sterero
Chrome option.
Moon Roof.
Winter package (heated sits)

Salesman called me three times yesterday. They are still offering $16k and I told them I will trade it if they offer $17k. With tax difference on Trade in, I think I will take $17k trade in at this point. That will be close to $18.3k. So if you know anyone is looking for something sporty and small car, let me know. I think $18.5k for 2006 cooper S is great deal. This is perfect shape. No scratch even on the bumper. I planned to keep this car for long time. So I had little scratch on front bumper and I changed it from Mini dealership. You can get all the record from Prestige Mini. It was minor scratch but I didn't want to drive brand new car with any scratch on.

It's my wife's fault. I always drove a stick but she wanted to drive this car as well. And she only drove once since I got this car. I wasted like $1500+ to get this option.

Honestly, most of the after market products work with automatic. And not much difference on HP between manual transmission and auto. Yes, I do prefer manual over automatic any day on any cars out there. However, some people do want automatic for easy drive. So hopely I can find that person.

LOL. She just got pregnant and she is having morning sickness and all sorts of pregnancy symptom. I think she is no use for anyone atm, LOL. I think it will be much easier for me to sell the car atm. Anyway, it's really nice car, I hate to sell it but I have no choice.

So far I got $16k trade in and invoice price on new car I am trying to get. If I don't get any bite til next couple of weeks, I think I just just trade in for it. I just put it on the craigslist and one of the used car dealership called me and offered $17300, but I would rather just trade in because it's about same money. And much easier.
