Guild Wars expansion 8/27/07

You can pre order it now,

Guild Wars Eye of the North.

This is a true expansion so you need to have an existing GW account to play this. There will be no "beginner section" like in factions and nightfall. This will also serve as the transfer point to Guild Wars 2 which is set to be released winter 2007/8 (tentative). If you pick up this months PC Gamer Magazine you can get all of the info on both games and also a code for a mini-pet for your current account.

Hi how are you, welcome to MR.

I know that for WOW I have to pay 15 bux a month to play and with Guild wars I don't I also know that I can use hero's and NPS's in guild wars for the quests and in WOW I can't.

I know the Kool-aid was passed around with the WOW subscriptions but you don't have to prove it to me

WOW is the way to go

WOW is the best. You get what you pay for . . . .if you dont like like WOW you apparently didn't pay the $15 to find out how good it is.

I have tried WOW and it is awesome don't get me wrong but something in me likes the other much more.

Hey Guys after reading the Halo3 thread I remembered this thread I started a while ago, I got my preorder pack and I can try the game out starting out tomorrow nite and ending Monday morning. I also get into the server 24hrs before non reserved people do.

I hate to break it to you guys, but lord of the rings online and even final fantasy IX are Way better than wow, eve and guild wars. LOTRO just launched 2 free expansions this summer, one was a few days ago, and final fantasy has another huge expansion releasing as well.

dont sweat it chief,it happens all the time.im suprised i didnt get attacked by PS3 fans on that thread. though i never got into pc online gameplay i did look up the GW and it looks pretty good maybe one day when i have a better pc i could give it a shot. did you know that halo 2 is out for the pc + it has achievements which they dont have for the 360 but like i mentioned in my halo thread there is the cross platform so if you ever decide to give it a shot lmk so we could hook up.
